LEADING DESIGN EFFORTS FROM START TO FINISH
I am the Lead UX/UI Designer for Part Match (formerly called CLOC), a custom designed parts database for a Fortune 500 client. The goal was to provide data transparency to Design Engineers (our user) in the organization in order to help them design parts more efficiently. Whether it was a part re-design opportunity or gathering ideas for a new part design, the goal was to give our users access to all existing parts and their data in order to streamline their design process. It is easier to start with an existing part and tweak it rather than starting from scratch.
I was the only Designer on this project and was part of the efforts, from conceptualization to development.
